MFA is a security measure that requires two means of authentication to login to your In-Form account.

MFA requires two methods of authentication. These are called authentication ‘keys’ or ‘tokens’. For In-Form, this will be your usual password and then a code that is automatically generated by an app on your phone called Salesforce Authenticator (desktop version also available, called WinAuth).

So, once you have set MFA up, you will login with your password and then enter a six-digit code that will be automatically generated for you by your new Salesforce Authenticator App (or WinAuth for desktop users).

MFA makes your In-Form system more secure. By requiring a password and a code, the system can be sure it is you trying to login to your account.

We know how important your client data is to you and without MFA you are leaving it more vulnerable to cyber attacks.

Every user who logs into In-Form is required to setup and use MFA in order to be able to access your account.

You should also only have one account per user.

If you currently share an account to login to In-Form, you won’t be able to do this going forwards. MFA requires separate logins for each user so it can ensure the correct person is logging in to the system.

You can use WinAuth instead. It’s a web-based system. There’s information in our how-to guide on both the app and WinAuth.
