Use In-Form to track anti-social behaviour and meet your requirements under the new complaint handling code

Blog: July 1, 2024

In-Form has released two new features to help you better support your clients:

  • Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code update
  • Anti-social behaviour tracking

Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code

To help you, as landlords, to meet the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code that came into effect on 1st April 2024, In-Form has created a new page layout in the complaints section of CCIAs (compliments, complaints, incidents, and accidents).

The new layout allows you to track what type of complaint it was and when it was sent. This gives you better tracking and reporting of whether something has been acknowledged within the required 20 working days. It also then lets you easily extend past 20 days if necessary and automatically updates the decision date.

Anti-social behaviour cases

To allow you to better track complaints and incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB), In-Form has created a new object within the system.

You will be able to create ASB complaints and incidents related to tenants. This could be an incident against one of your tenants by other people, or where they are the instigator.

There will be options to log the status of the ASB case and what type of case it is, e.g. a hate crime.

You will also be able to use ASB reports to provide insight into patterns and repeat behaviour.

How do I get these?

If you’re interested in either of the above functionality areas, please use the ‘contact In-Form support’ button from within your In-Form system to raise a case with the team.
